Machine Control & Site Modeling

EG Rud and Sons is able to assist excavating companies and contractors with their site modeling and data preparation needs. Our services will provide the contractor with the following benefits:

	•	Quality digital site model preparation and set up
	•	Better utilization of contractor’s GPS technology investment
	•	Improved site efficiency and staking for the contractor

The site modeling process involves the following steps:

	•	Site calibration control
	•	Site calibration in client’s controller (if necessary)
	•	Provide site model earthwork quantities (if necessary)
	•	Provide site model to the actual site during the initial calibration
	•	Stake control points to allow client to make necessary checks on the site model provided
	•	Provide on going site model support with changes and checks as needed
	•	Provide quality control and second-party verification upon completion of the project to ensure
		that it meets all party’s requirements
	•	Follow-up earthwork quantities on the finished project
